In 2020, I would travel with my family for a long period of time. In the past, we always left the dogs with a sitter, and the neighbors looked after the chickens and horses. However with of the arrival of an extra dog and because I didn't want to ask too much of the neighbours, I turned my attention to a site where house sitters and travellers find each other. I received many emails after placing my request. I made a selection from all the applications and Claudine was among them. We met at my home and we clicked right away. She is sweet with the animals, not afraid and also a nice person.

The trip was canceled because of Covid19, but we kept in touch. When my family and I went to Switzerland for a week, she came to house. Because we had to leave early, she came to stay the night before. We showed her how everything works, and then had a nice glass of wine. The next morning we left the animals with her with a good feeling. When we arrived back home, everything down to the last detail was taken care of. There were flowers, it was clean (a great achievement with three dogs), the eggs were sorted by date of arrival and there was an extensive report of the week. This year the trip will continue and Claudine will of course house sit again, I wouldn't know what we would do without her.

Short version: Happy dogs, horses and chickens. Flowers on the table, eggs sorted by date and a clean house. Claudine is a house sitter who thinks of everything and is loved by people and animals.
